Learn to locate, identify, assess and balance acupressure points (acupoints) on the feet and ankles. This course introduces new techniques to bodyworkers and energy therapists while both beginning and experienced reflexologists will gain a broader understanding of the integral connection between acupoints and reflex points. Identify five foot shapes and how they give clues to temperament as well as emotional and physical imbalances. Learn to assess the fine lines, wrinkles, calluses and textures of the feet for health cues such as acid reflux, thyroid conditions, heart disease, bladder disorders, breast cancer, mineral imbalances and internal pathogens. Assess emotional imbalances using simple mobilization and range of motion techniques.
